986 E. Rose Ave. Built after WW2 for $8000. Mark and Chris lived their early years here. Only a few blocks to the Brauer Bakery. Uncle Earl lived in the stucco house right next door. ![]() ![]() Forest St. @ Magnolia Ave. Started by Grandpa Brauer and run by Earl when Mark and Chris were young. Was used for a while to house a recycling business that extracted precious metals from junk electronic devices. Now a Hmoob market. That's St. Casimir church in the background where we went to Masses said in Polish. ![]() ![]() 9XX Cook Ave. @ Cypress St. Just a couple of blocks from Brauer Bakery.
